Paramedic Training Program

The Paramedic program is designed for the Basic Level EMT to advance his/her skills. While being nationally recognized as one of the highest level of prehospital care provider, the Paramedic is in charge of providing care in the field, as well as directing the efforts of others providing care. Students participate in an intense curriculum which includes training in 12-lead EKGs, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Hazardous Materials Recognition. Paramedics have a variety of career opportunities including 911 advanced life support, and critical and neonatal care transports.
