If you have ever considered going to school for becoming a medical assistant, look no further than Star Career Academy. Star provides the necessary grounding in clinical and administrative procedures used by entry-level Medical Assistants. The Medical Assist program prepares students to work in hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices and other health care settings. Throughout training, students learn the basics of anatomy, physiology and pathology along with current medical terminology. To improve employment prospects, students also learn important communications and human relations skills and are taught the professional, legal and ethical standards expected of today’s health care worker. An externship in a working health care facility provides the hands-on practice and experience needed for permanent employment readiness. The Medical Assistant Program is available in the Medical Assistant School in Long Island, NY and PA campuses.
