The Star cardiology tech training program prepares students to perform non-invasive procedures that provide valuable recorded data utilized in cardiac medical evaluation. The in-depth curriculum of Star Career Academy's cardiology technician school includes the study of human anatomy and physiology, cardiac pharmacology, vital signs, patient assessment, and basic medical electronics and instrumentation. In addition, this program provides an understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in ECG, Holter monitoring, exercise stress testing and pacemaker analysis, and clinical techniques and procedures. Students seeking to study or specialize in phlebotomy, there is no need to research different phlebotomy schools. Star also provides equal attention and detail in phlebotomy training. Upon successful completing the program, students graduate with a cardiac technician degree. The knowledge and skills acquired at Star will prepare them for an entry-level position as a Cardiology Technician and Phlebotomist in hospitals, diagnostic centers, clinics and doctor's offices. We offer this program in NY, NJ, and PA.
